Graphics

Columbia Missourian

The Columbia Missourian is a city newspaper and community news organization managed by professional editors and staffed by Missouri School of Journalism students

In my time at the graphics desk, I pitched weekly graphics ideas based on current news stories and events. I worked on a semester-long full-page graphic, creating a print version and an interactive web version, which you can view here. You can view some of my graphics created for the Columbia Missourian below:

Audience Engagement Work

The Columbia Missourian, a community news organization managed by professional editors and staffed by Missouri School of Journalism students.

Election Alert Newsletter for the Columbia Missourian

In this audience project, I worked with a group to put together a weekly newsletter for The Columbia Missourian meant to inform and engage voters ahead of the General Municipal Election. This newsletter served as a form of service journalism, answering frequently asked questions about the upcoming election, providing summaries of forums and candidate profiles, as well as linking to reporting from The Missourian itself.
